CUSTOM MULTICAM WING SUIT

Our good friend and Red Bull Air Force skydiver, Jeff Provenzano, sent us a pic of his new custom wing suit. The suit is the Apache Rebel made by Tony Suits and is made from MultiCam Theta fabric from Duro Textiles. Jeff is a huge fan of MultiCam and couldn’t be happier with how the suit turned out. He jumped from 13,500 feet and flew for 3mins and 20secs for his first flight with the custom suit and has much bigger plans for it in the future. Stay tuned.

TILLEY T3 HAT IN MULTICAM

The Tilley T3 hat has been a favorite with many wearers for years because of its versatility, stylish looks and excellent functionality. NEW FABRICS FROM DURO TEXTILES

As we stated in last week’s post, Duro Textiles debuted a couple of new fabrics at Shot Show this year. The first is Gamma which is a 400D nylon pack cloth which bridges the gap between our 330D and 500D offering. It’s a slick feeling fabric with great abrasion resistance and strength but also offers excellent weight savings over the 1000D and 500D Corduras. Gamma is perfect for many pack and vest applications. The second is the TenCate Defender™ M fire retardant fabric. This fabric has set the standard for flame resistant military fabrics having been specified for all Army and Marine uniforms for ground forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. SHOT SHOW 2013 WRAP UP

Shot Show 2013 just wrapped up in Las Vegas and the the MultiCam booth was packed. Duro Textiles showcased their fabric offering highlighted by the new 400D pack cloth and Defender M fire resistant fabric. People also saw the upcoming limited edition Vans LXVI MultiCam collection dropping in March and the Oakley MultiCam editions of the Garage Rock, Fives Squared and Fuel Cell available in April. More details will follow about the shoes and the glasses in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Salient Arms created 3 excellent guns consisting of a Mossberg 930 and a 590 shotgun and a Glock 19 all coated in MultiCam by WW Guns. The Hot Shots girls were at the booth all week signing calendars and their limited edition skateboard decks. All proceeds went to various military veterans charities and we are grateful for their hard work all week. Lastly, in Hall G of the convention center people were treated to the awesome Local-Motors Rally Fighter wrapped in MultiCam vinyl. That off road yet 50 State street legal car is truly a work of art and looked amazing. Stay tuned for details about where you will be able to get vinyl for your vehicle in the coming weeks.
